Dr. Blakeslee is a 1980 graduate of the University of Minnesota. With a goal of providing the best care for his patients, he has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education. He is committed to lifelong learning and keeps current on the latest methods, materials and technology.
Dr. Blakeslee is active in his profession, serving on the Peer Review Committee for the Minneapolis District Dental Society and holding membership with the Minnesota Dental Association, American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. He has been honored by his peers by being recognized as a “Top Dentist” as listed in Minneapolis/St. Paul magazine 4 times, most recently in 2014. He has been similarly recognized in Minnesota Monthly magazine 3 times.
He has volunteered his dental skills since the inception of Give Kids a Smile and has also participated in planning for the event. Every month, Dr. Blakeslee can be found in the free dental clinic at Sharing and Caring Hands in Minneapolis.
Dr. Blakeslee and his wife, Susan, have made Fridley their home since 1981. They have two grown daughters. His many areas of interest include gardening, travel, photography, pottery, sailing, hiking, camping, snowshoeing, yoga and the company of many friends and family.
