Meet Our Team

Lisa – Treatment Coordinator

I received my degree in Elementary Education from St. Cloud University in 2001. My initial dream was to become a teacher, but while I was looking for a full time position I was working as a patient coordinator at another dental office. I quickly learned that I loved being in the dental field and knew that this was where I wanted to stay. I joined the Blakeslee Dental family in April 2014. It is a blessing to be able to work with Dr. Blakeslee and his exceptional staff-they are friendly, caring and wonderful to all our patients.

My husband and I have three amazing kids who keep us very busy. We also have a boxer named Wyatt who thinks he is pretty special, and he is.

Kim – Patient Coordinator

I received my dental assisting license from Century College. I have been employed at Blakeslee Dental since July of 2013. Dr. Blakeslee and the staff are incredibly welcoming, friendly and professional.

My husband and I enjoy riding our motorcycles and traveling. We have two adult children. Our oldest daughter and her husband have recently moved to California with our three grandchildren. She is an RN and he is a police officer. My son is an ironworker by trade and a home owner.

I tell everyone I LOVE MY JOB!!

Sheryl – Dental Hygienist

I have been a dental hygienist for 25 years. I graduated from UMD in 1989. I have been a part of the Blakeslee Dental team for more then 16 years. I enjoy helping people achieve a greater level of health. In my spare time my 2 teenage daughters keep my husband and I very busy.

Heather – Dental Hygienist

I have been in the dental profession for 20 years. I began my career in 1997 as a dental assistant. I returned to college in 2000 to pursue my degree in dental hygiene from Century College. I have been working with Dr. Blakeslee since 2005. I truly enjoy working all aspects of the dental office. I enjoy getting to know my patients and their families.

My husband and I like to travel with our boys. We have two young boys and a Shih Tzu named Lexi.

Bobbi – Dental Hygienist

I graduated from the University of North Dakota (go Sioux) in 1992 with a degree in political science, spanish and psychology. My intention at that time was to go onto dental school. After deciding instead to pursue a career in dental hygiene, I enrolled at Normandale Community College. I have been a registered dental hygienist since 1996 and have been with Blakeslee Dental for the past 7 years. I wish I would have found them earlier!!

I love working with Dr. Blakeslee and all the girls; they truly are fun to be around. The best thing is that we all enjoy our jobs and want to improve the health of our patients.

I do not have many hobbies (no time). I have 3 kids who all play hockey year round. They are also active in lacrosse, football, fast pitch softball, and gymnastics. When I do get a spare moment, I like taking my 4th child-Charlie-our golden retriever for walks. Also I like fishing, swimming, listening to music, and sunshine!!

Kelly – Dental Hygienist

I graduated from UMD in 1987 and have worked as a dental hygienist ever since. I worked with Dr. Blakeslee and his awesome staff from 2001-2005 and have recently returned. I can honestly say I missed my co-workers, and all our awesome patients. I LOVE to hear my patients “stories” and help them achieve optimal oral health.

My husband and I enjoy all our free time in northern Wisconsin ( I am a Packers fan) at our land, where we camp, fish, hunt, ride our side by side, float the river, relax around the fire and make memories with our family and friends. It truly is Gods country! I have two grown children, a lab and a granddog.

Carolyn – Dental Assistant

I have been a dental assistant since 1995, and have had the pleasure of working for Dr. Blakeslee since 1999. I find it very rewarding getting to know every patient. I LOVE making their dental experience great by helping them understand their treatment and of course, making their teeth look and feel great!!

My husband and I enjoy spending our free time at our cabin on Big Sandy, and our frequent visits to Northern Ontario for fishing and relaxation. I have one daughter who is currently attending UMD.

I can honestly say I made the right decision becoming a dental assistant. I Love my job!!

Jody – Dental Assistant

Dentistry is a second career for me. I worked in corporate international transportation for 18 years and after a plant closing it was time for a change. I needed something more personal that helped other people and dentistry was my choice. Not long after graduating from Century College I started at Blakeslee Dental. I couldn’t have found a better place to work, Dr Blakeslee is a pleasure to work for and my coworkers are both professional and fun.

When I am not at work I love to spend time with my daughters and 8 grand kids. My naughty dogs pretty much run my house and I get to live there and serve them. I have a 95 year old (money pit) house up north that I work on whenever possible (and I have money to drop in to it.)
