Meet Our Team

Cindy – Practice Administrator

I have been working in the dentistry field since 1985. Initially, gaining my dental assistant license which followed with many years working clinically as a dental assistant, before moving into the administrative roles of a dental practice. I feel fortunate to have joined this fantastic team at Blakeslee Dental. I enjoy getting to know our patients and helping to give them a smile they are proud to share with others, by working through the maze of insurance benefits and payment options available.

In my spare time I enjoy various outdoor activities, reading and spending time with family.

Kim – Patient Coordinator

I received my dental assisting license from Century College. I started working for Blakeslee Dental in 2013.
During the warm Minnesota months, I divide my time with riding my motorcycle and riding with my husband in his collector cars.
We have 2 adult children. Our oldest daughter lives in California with her husband and our three growing grandchildren. Our son is a home owner and lives 1/2 mile from us, so we see him often. He is an ironworker and owns an auto repair shop and loves to work on classic cars.

Sheryl – Dental Hygienist

I have been a dental hygienist since 1989, graduated from University of Minnesota Duluth. I have enjoyed working with the staff at Blakeslee Dental since 1998. While making each patients experience unique to their needs, I find it rewarding to help them achieve a higher level of health.

I balance my work schedule by spending time with my husband, our two daughters, and our dog.

Heather – Dental Hygienist

I have been in the dental profession for 20 years. I began my career in 1997 as a dental assistant. I returned to college in 2000 to pursue my degree in dental hygiene from Century College. I have been working with Dr. Blakeslee since 2005. I truly enjoy working all aspects of the dental office. I enjoy getting to know my patients and their families.

My husband and I like to travel with our boys. We have two young boys and a Shih Tzu named Lexi.

Bobbi – Dental Hygienist

I graduated from the University of North Dakota (go Sioux) in 1992 with a degree in political science, spanish and psychology. My intention at that time was to go onto dental school. After deciding instead to pursue a career in dental hygiene, I enrolled at Normandale Community College. I have been a registered dental hygienist since 1996 and have been with Blakeslee Dental for the past 9 years. I wish I would have found them earlier!!

I love working with Dr. Blakeslee and all the girls; they truly are fun to be around. The best thing is that we ALL enjoy our jobs and want to improve the health of our patients.

I have 3 children who keep me busy with hockey, fast pitch, lacrosse and yes, more hockey. I also have a 4th child – Charli – our golden retriever who loves 24 hour attention.

Kelly – Dental Hygienist

I graduated from UMD in 1987 and have worked as a dental hygienist ever since. I worked with Dr. Blakeslee and his awesome staff from 2001-2005 and have recently returned. I can honestly say I missed my co-workers, and all our awesome patients. I LOVE to hear my patients “stories” and help them achieve optimal oral health.

My husband and I enjoy all our free time in northern Wisconsin ( I am a Packers fan) at our land, where we camp, fish, hunt, ride our side by side, float the river, relax around the fire and make memories with our family and friends. It truly is Gods country! I have two grown children, a lab and a granddog.

Claire – Dental Hygienist

Choosing to become a dental hygienist is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. It truly has been the most rewarding career. I graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1980 and for the past 35 years have had the pleasure of working for Dr. Barr. As a hygienist, I am concerned about my patients needs and enjoy helping others develop healthy dental habits.

My husband and I have two wonderful children and have been blessed with six amazing grandchildren (including triplets). We LOVE spending time with them! I also enjoy reading a wide variety of books and volunteering in my Church’s library. In my spare time, you will find me in my flower garden surrounded by weeds.

Carolyn – Dental Assistant

I have been a dental assistant since 1995, and have had the pleasure of working for Dr. Blakeslee since 1999. I find it very rewarding getting to know every patient. I LOVE making their dental experience great by helping them understand their treatment and of course, making their teeth look and feel great!!

My husband and I have a cabin in Northern Ontario and enjoy fishing and four wheeling. I have one daughter and two dogs.

I can honestly say I made the right decision becoming a dental assistant. I Love my job!!

Jody – Dental Assistant

Dentistry is a second career for me. I worked in corporate international transportation for 18 years and after a plant closing it was time for a change. I needed something more personal that helped other people and dentistry was my choice. Not long after graduating from Century College I started at Blakeslee Dental. I couldn’t have found a better place to work, Dr Blakeslee is a pleasure to work for and my coworkers are both professional and fun.

When I am not at work I love to spend time with my daughters and 8 grand kids. My naughty dogs pretty much run my house and I get to live there and serve them. I have a 100 year old (money pit) house up north that I work on whenever possible (and I have money to drop in to it.)

Vi – Dental Assistant

I have been a Certified Licensed Dental Assistant for 17 years. I graduated from Minnesota School of Business in 2000. I enjoy getting to know and building relationships with our patients and families. I strive to make patients feel welcome and comfortable during their dental visits.

My husband Wally and I have one daughter who is married and two wonderful granddaughters. We enjoy spending any free time with the girls, both under five so we spend a lot of time playing with bubbles!

I like to find my crafty side by designing with stain glass. I never know what creation I will come up with, but I’ve had fun making signs, lamps, and jewelry boxes.
