Cosmetic Bonding

We offer the lastest bonding technology and a wide color selection to make your restorations functional and beautiful.  Bonding is used for closing spaces, replacing older stained fillings, reshaping malformed teeth, as well as repairing chipped teeth.

A crown is a restoration that covers a tooth and is used to bring a tooth back to its natural strength.  There are many reasons a crown might be needed, here are a few scenarios:  help restore badly decayed or damaged teeth, protect weak teeth, restore a fractured tooth, cover poorly shaped or colored teeth, cover dental implants.

Bridges are permanently cemented similar to a crown and are used to replace missing teeth, helping you chew more naturally.  Bridges are also used for cosmetic purposes to replace missing teeth in your smile.

We work with specialists to provide our patients the option of dental implants.  Dental implants are a great option for permanent replacement of missing teeth that look and feel natural.

Tooth Colored Fillings

Resin fillings are used to restore decayed teeth with a more natural look or can be used to replace old damaged silver fillings.

A thin layer of porcelain that is placed on the tooth to help mask discolored, uneven, crooked or chipped teeth.

We offer a variety of removable and fixed dentures to replace missing teeth.

Whitening Trays

Custom trays are made to fit securely around each tooth.  The whitening gel is applied in the trays and the trays are inserted into the mouth.  The patient will have a whiter and brighter smile in about two weeks.

Root Canal Treatment

Every tooth has a nerve canal in it that brings life to the tooth.  When the nerve is diseased or injured and is unable to repair itself, it dies.  The most common causes of this are a cracked tooth, deep decay, problems with large fillings, or serious trauma to the tooth.  All of these can allow bacteria to enter the nerve canal and an infection can start.  During the root canal treatment, the nerve of the tooth is removed and a restoration is placed.

Dr Blakeslee does extractions on a case by case basis.  He will review an xray of the tooth and decide if he can do it, or if it is best to refer you to an oral surgeon.
